Picture
Composite of materials with lacquer finish. An experiential art form.

Large:  26" x 19' x 12"                      Small:  13" x 5 1/2" x 8"

By commission only.

The Nautilus Speaks, is the most recently completed sculpture from my work bench. The form itself is perhaps the most sublime design Mother Nature has given us to reflect upon and it also best illustrates the path of our lives; the many unfolding waves of external colors illuminating past events and experiences, along with the turning inward toward the heart of the experiencer. It is presently being exhibited at the Weber Gallery in Carmel, CA.

Two of my dear friends commissioned me to create for them a set of speakers with The Nautilus Speaks.  Of course I was thrilled to do so.

Yes, black boxes got to me and I wanted something organic that I could relate to while listening to my favorite music.  The sense of sound is tactile, it touches our inner ear with air pressure variations along with subsonic impacts into our bodies affording us an intimately sensual and often divine experience.  My research and subsequent development of speaker systems revealed a treasure trove of sound capabilities  which are shared in the Healing Temple Discourse.
